OFF WHITE founder and designer Virgil Abloh shook up sneaker culture with his highly anticipated “The Ten” footwear collection, created in collaboration with Nike. The collection assembles 10 models, broken up into two categories – “REVEALING” and “GHOSTING.” Comprised of both legacy designs and Nike’s newest innovations, here we highlight Abloh’s interpretation of the classic Air Presto shoe. The selected models are split in half under the aforementioned categories, with the “REVEALING” component arriving first in a hand-cut, open-source, and reconstructed look. The pair shares design cues with its counterparts, most notably the explicit “AIR” messaging and exposed stitching. A bold black leather Swoosh is woven into the knitted black patchwork-style upper. Straps, additional orange accents, sail-colored caging and a matching sole round out the shoe.
