Paying homage to the important civil rights movement, the sneaker is cast in the eight colours of the original Pride flag, intended to represent a specific meaning and aspect of the LGBT movement; sex, life, healing, sunlight, nature, magic/art, serenity and spirit.

A kaleidoscopic vision of pride and inclusivity, Nike stack up their instantly recognisable Swoosh logo eight times, with each Swoosh rendered in a colour from Gilbert Baker’s important and iconic rainbow flag from 1978. Celebrating the artist and gay rights activist, Nike ensure that they honour the legacy left by the flag’s late designer.
