A sneaker inspired by the classic running shoe with the modern touch.
The new NMD R1 reflects the design aesthetics of the mid 80’s with the pioneering running shoe’s spirit. It celebrates the time when wearable new technologies were an excitement. The sneaker is constructed out of foot hugging Knit upper. It translates today’s street friendly retro tech style. The upper comes in elegant yet straightforward core black colourway. Because Adidas knows that sometimes simple is the best way. Tonal TPU welded three stripes adorns the side wall. The laces come in black with rubber lace holes and Solar Orange contrast on the lace tips. The sockliner also occurs in the same hue. The signature pull tab comes in a flight tag like Red. Beneath all these sits a white Boost midsole with black EVA plugs. Adidas Trefoil logo can be seen on the tongue, heel patch and the front EVA plug. The black rubber outsole completes the package.
