Arriving in an ultra stealthy ‘Triple Black’ colour palette, the Matthew M Williams x Nike Free TR 3 SP Black boasts a versatile sock-like construction that is reminiscent of ninja shoes. The Chicago-born creative also implements his love for technical sneakers by giving the shoe a bungee cord lacing system and a zip opening that shoots down the medial side all the way towards the footbed.
If this wasn’t crazy enough, a detachable Vibram outsole also makes an appearance here, grabbing on to the shoe through a series of straps that appear on the vamp and ankle. This technically means that you would be able to buy other outsoles and mix and match as you please! To complete the design, “MMW” and Nike Swoosh co-branded leather insoles round it all off, while “Matthew M. Williams” typography graces the lateral side rear heel.
