A personal story told through an artful and anecdotal take on the AM97, Jasmine – a dedicated Air Max fan – is one of six individuals across the globe to celebrate her home city. Set in Primrose Hill, London, “Summer of Love” is a personal memory of a first date; painted in a multitude of vibrant neons to represent the liveliness of summer, a “97P” text runs around the uppers, with a “Good Chat” text remembering the first-time acquaintance.
Sporting a vibrant color scheme of orange, green, blue, neon and purple hues across its upper, this iteration celebrates summer in the city and love, as Lasode used a personal memory of her time in London’s Primrose Hill as the source of her inspiration. Finally, the runner’s white mesh base acts as a canvas while finishing touches include “97P” printed in a pattern on the wavy stripe overlay, along with “Good Chat” detailed on the pull tabs.
