Fashion forward designer, Virgil Abloh, has teamed up with tennis superstar Serena Williams for the Off-White x Serena Williams x Nike Air Max 97 “QUEEN”, and it’s absolutely magical.
Reworking the iconic Air Max 97 model that was revived last year, the Off-White x Serena Williams x Nike Air Max 97 “QUEEN” is dropping as part of the “QUEEN” collection, which is inspired by Abloh’s subversive take on the style of tennis itself.
Painted in a pastel pink throughout its upper, a bold black Swoosh is present along the side panels, and ‘Volt’ accents provide the shoe with a additional contrast. Down below, a rainbow-hued Air-infused midsole is present for additional comfort and a smoother stride, and to round things off, “AIR” branding completes the deconstructed aesthetic.
